The New York Times stated that West Homi Elementary has a large number of Japanese-Brazilians. I think Portuguese could be added to the descriptions of "Homi Estate" (the community with many Brazilians) in Toyota, Aichi and that includes West Homi Elementary. This is the last sentence in the section Education, as of today:
IMO it is somewhat possible to understand the general idea of it, i.e., that it is very difficult for Japanese Brazilians to integrate into Japanese society since they are measured by the same high standards as persons born, raised and socialized entirely in Japan. However, my head spun for a while after I first read that phrase, and it is spinning again now after I tried to express it in my own words. I suggest someone knowledgeable reword this sentence! -- 2A02:908:4B14:9BC0:A10E:560D:8B44:7DB1 ( talk) 15:54, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
