I can't find any proof that there were two different sizes of HE shell?
The 81mm Brandt 27/31 is often listed as having a Mle 1935 GC ("High Capacity") projectile as an additional HE option, but the weight for this projectile is listed as 6.8kg instead of 2.2kg
The 60mm Brand LR Gun-Mortar is listed as using a 2.2kg projectile, however this weapon was developed significantly later.
Anyone have any ideas where this "Heavy" shell came from? Mecheye ( talk) 22:23, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
