The opening line says "The Brahma sūtras, also known as Vedānta Sūtras, constitute the Nyāya prasthāna, the logical starting point of the Vedānta philosophy (Nyāya = logic/order)." Is it correct to equalize Nyaya and Vedanta? They are usually considered separate schools of Hindu philosophy. If the editor means that Nyaya is the first step to understanding Vedanta, then the statement is correct, but it would be good if a little explanation is given for readers who have little or no familiarity with schools of Hindu thought. I would've attempted it, but don't know enough about Nyaya/Vedanta to be sure what the author means here. VishalB ( talk) 16:19, 21 May 2011 (UTC)
