This article has been given a rating which conflicts with the
project-independent quality rating in the banner shell. Please resolve this conflict if possible.
The article definitely needs work. While it was controversial, the town has benefited from the tax growth. The article also lacks any mention of
Taubman Company's efforts to defeat the complex as the owner of nearby
Westfarms Mall.
Considering how much media coverage their was ( I believe it made the front of the Hartford Courant 3 times in a year), there should be ample news sources to draw tons of information for this article.
