The Tending of Bridges and Naming of Parts
Those of you discussing the inclusion of this term might wish to look at
Bridge Tender's House for some additional material. The term Bridge Tender is obviously one that has significance, though I suspect its having an article in its own right might be an article too far?

Thank you, yes. A Google search ("bridge tender's house" -artwork -photo) gives 24,000 results - another 24,000 are for an artwork on the subject. So maybe an article is not out of the question. But as for its usage in this article, it seems pretty well substantiated.
