Why "Blackfeet Indian Reservation"? Hyacinth 01:40, 1 Mar 2005 (UTC)
The article's main title being at "Blackfeet Indian Reservation" rather than "Blackfoot Nation" ("Blackfeet Nation") endorses the US government's attempt to treat US-Indian issues as domestic rather than international. Is there a guideline that indicates "Reservation" over "Nation"? Hyacinth 03:38, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Blackfeet Nation is a tribe. Blackfeet Indian Reservation is a reservation. The opening sentence claims that the Blackfeet Nation, aka the Blackfeet Tribe, is a reservation!
I'm thinking the best thing is to split into two articles, one about the tribe and another about the reservation. There would be, however, two possible processes to achieve this:

In the second paragraph under "Culture" some text and part of a reference were mistakenly deleted, making the sentence and the reference inaccessible. If anyone has access to the older version or the correct text, please modify. Danblum ( talk) 01:28, 16 May 2024 (UTC)
