This is simply a question, for no reason in particular. I'd like another person who read the exceptional book Oliver Twist to tell me their opinion. I was under the impression that Sikes did love Nancy, but subconsciously- he didn't know it until he was haunted with guilt of his murdering her. Even then, he still didn't know it too very well. Can someone tell me if I'm right or wrong?
