It can be moved again if there is good reason (the initial request wasn't well-formed, but it is perfectly sensible to have him at the name the ODNB uses). There is no particular need to change the instances where there is a piped link from
Benjamin Laney (bishop). For figures from the 17th century, there is no "standard" name anyway: using a name not requiring extra disambiguation is also reasonable, and the theoretical guidelines would apply to do this:
