Like most WP articles on kiddie nightclub drinks, this stinks of company PR. I don't know why they bother, as few of their potential customers are going to check out WP before going out to get hammered. --

Indeed. I've restored it to an older, less objectionable version and cleaned up a little. Looking at the history of the article, this is a long-term problem, and the article has been see-sawing back and forth between short-and-acceptable and bloated-press-release for years now. If (or when) this happens again, a post at
WP:COIN to get more experienced eyes on the problem might be a good idea.

Re "Criticism," suggest that this short-lived (45 min.) piece of adv. poor judgment three years ago is no longer relevant.

It was a little more substantial than the paragraph implied. The ad used a screen capture from a video, apparently without getting permission from the people involved. One of the actors in the ad,
Alicyn Packard, filed a lawsuit against the company for violating the
California Celebrities Rights Act. I've expanded the section to explain that. It was covered by multiple reliable source, and had a somewhat substantial impact, so I think it should stay.
