Mfdavies: I'm not so sure that is her birthday. The reference of this is to an
Insider article but the article itself explicitly says her age is unclear (Poarch's age is also unclear...). When they mention in the article that she may be born in 1997 they link to the website Famous Birthdays which is blacklisted by Wikipedia itself (literally; I tried to link to it in this comment and could not until I undid the link). Something should probably be added to the article indicating her age, and her military service in extension, are in question (unless a reliable source can be found elsewhere). ––

Whisperjanes: No problem! I've also added a sentence to her military service that states sources have questioned it's legitimacy. I'm not very experienced with adding content to articles and the associated policies, so if you could glance at it when available and improve upon it, I'd appreciate it. ––

Sirdog9002: The source provided for the sentence "This service has been questioned as her date of birth is not reliably known" does not question her service as being a lie, but instead seems to comment about how her claim of having served would invalidate her birth year being 2001. I have not seen many legitimate sources actually casting doubt on her claims of having served in the Navy, so unless you have any that do we should remove this phrasing. See also:

Tpdwkouaa: Thank you for reaching out to me about this! After reviewing the source again, in short, I believe your anaylsis is correct. I can also see how it's mention is in conflict with
WP:UNDUE. I shall remove the relevant phrasing shortly as you suggest. Cheers! ––

The statement that "Build a Bitch" is the "biggest YouTube debut in history" is an incredibly promotional statement and doesn't meet the policy
WP:EXCEPTIONAL, so I'm once again removing it. It has no place in the lead, since it was written by the song's record label, and is therefore
unreliable and
self-sourced. I hope this explanation makes sense, and I welcome any other comments or questions here on the talk page. -

Is her real surname "Taylor"?
According to several articles, her real surname maybe "Taylor".
[1][2]
In an Instagram photo of her U.S Navy uniform, her name tag says "Taylor", and according to both sources, her Facebook account URL once said "Nairee Taylor" or "Taylor Nairee". Now, I know that this likely isn't information to change her given name in her lede paragraph/infobox, but I'm wondering if someone else could find sources potentially confirming her real surname being "Taylor"?

Clear Looking Glass, you are correct, adding this information to the article would require a much more reliable sources than you have suggested. I personally have looked and found nothing. It sometimes can be a tricky process to find sources that are of high enough quality to use for this purpose. See
WP:RELIABLE for guidelines as to what constitutes a reliable source for this. Hope this helps ...

How to request a photo added back to the page again?
The photo on this page a week or two ago was contested and looks like it was deleted. What's the proper way to request someone find a picture that complies with Wikipedia's picture policy and get it added to this article?
LaceyUF (

LaceyUF, the easiest thing you can do is to do what you just did, request it through the article's talk page (this page). Looking at the box at the bottom of this page, where it says "Categories: Biography articles of living people", etc., I see that the category "Wikipedia requested photographs of artists and entertainers" is already listed, meaning that a photograph has already been requested. It seems that a suitable photograph with appropriate use permissions has not yet been located for the subject of this article. Please be patient and perhaps one will be located soon. Thank you,

Johnnie Bob, according to someone in discord, you are only allowed to use a copyrighted picture if a free picture cannot exist, not because you can't find one. Assuming this is true, do you know where I can find the intro-guide to finding images that have a compatible license with what Wikipedia requires? I'll happily do the work myself as a peculiar sense of duty compels me to treat this task with sensible urgency.
LaceyUF (

LaceyUF, you won't be able to use a non-free photo of the subject, because the subject is still living. See the "Wikipedia Plain and simple non-free content guide" at
WP:PSNFCG for more on this. You MIGHT be able to find a video that has been uploaded to YouTube using a Creative Commons license and take a frame from it. Otherwise I would say just keep searching for one with a free license.

Johnnie Bob, I thought that the copyright belongs to the photographer, and if a photographer takes a public photo of a celebrity, that they can release their images under any license they want? (including free licenses?)

Good luck finding one of those. My only other suggestion is to go a public event with your camera. But don't try to pass one off as yours that isn't. It will get deleted real quick ...

Please update birthdate to consistently be February 8th 2001.
Not done: please provide
reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. @
Its bella poarch: The insider article does not make a claim on her age; they are only reporting that her age is in question. The tweet attached in said article by Bella Poarch is also written with a tone of humor, nor does it make any clarifying statement on her age. The other two sources fail to meet
WP:RS with Celeb-Networth in particular having a consensus of being unreliable per
WP:RSP. Have a good day! ––

Partly done: I don't know if I'm just completely blanking on what the documentation for {{
Infbox TikTok personality}} is saying, or if said template is broken or something else in the master infobox template is broken, but all attempts from me to get the direct link to her TikTok page to go into the infobox correctly have failed. I have, however, updated her likes and followers per said page. Per Remember to change the |answered=no parameter to "yes" when the request has been accepted, rejected or on hold awaiting user input., I'm setting this to answered, and anyone else watching this page can try to parse that infobox issue. —

Wuuluu: there is a source in the early life section, the problem is, the content isn't showing. If it is showing on your device, check if there is information that states her name. —Ctrlwiki (talk)

@Ctrlwiki unfortunately the link is broken. Are there any other sources on the web indicating that her birth name is Denarie B. Poarch?

Unfortunately, we can't really find a source to prove her real name. So there is no problem if we remove it. Many websites mention her full name, but these websites are blogs, and blogs are not reliable, so we cannot know if what is stated there is fact. —Ctrlwiki (talk)

It states: "Each week, the Honolulu Star- Advertiser publishes Oahu statistics for marriage licenses and birth certificates filed with the state Department of Health’s Vital Statistics System." With access to the article, it further states: Denarie Bautista Taylor and Tyler William Poarch. (Of course, among names of other people as well).

And if you follow her interviews on how she was born in Philippines but was adopted after that. Don't remember if she said she was adopted and went into the military to leave Philippines or not And from the looks of the newly uncovered name it does come across as Filipino, denarie Bautista Taylor doesn't, it sounds more American like an alias could've been her married name but no source, but Bella is probably just her stage name or Americanized name of Belinda or just a nickname alias
