Weak oppose on the grounds that there are several other degrees just as similar in scope, and I think that we should either keep them all separate or consolidate. I see at least:

• Bachelor of Integrated Studies
• Bachelor of Independent Studies
• Bachelor of General Studies
• Bachelor of Liberal Studies

The are all in the Liberal arts education tradition, although I accept that that term has a particular meaning in the US (given the existence of specific Liberal arts colleges).
