Avalon University School of Medicine is not accredited by any accreditation agency therefore the accreditation section should be added. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.54.40.140 ( talk) 19:39, 30 July 2011 (UTC)
Why does somebody keep coming on this page and saying that this school is not accredited? It is accredited by the ministry of health of curacao. Cactus writer is there a way that you can stop people from making that change? It is not true. The definition of educational accreditation is "In most countries in the world, the function of educational accreditation is conducted by a government organization, such as a ministry of education." Of course avalon has this hence its listing in the IMED. Ng54 ( talk) 23:45, 4 August 2011 (UTC)

I request the admin to look into the vandalizm/edit wars of the user LEUKO, who doesnt understand what the term accreditation means. This wikipedia turns into the war zone of some users who hate the existance of Caribbean med schools. LEUKO's additions violates the neutral point of view police as he alters articles without specifing any verifiable sources of his statements. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.54.38.192 ( talk) 05:28, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
While I agree that the school has not been accredited by the CAAM-HP organization yet, it is still incorrect to say that the school is unaccredited, as it has been said in the first line. If you refer to the definition of accreditation it says "In most countries in the world, the function of educational accreditation is conducted by a government organization, such as a ministry of education" Avalon is located in curacao. By using this definition avalon is accredited by the ministry of health of the curacao government. So saying unaccredited is incorrect. I think saying that the school does not have external accreditation is fine but saying that this is an unaccredited school as is written in the first line is incorrect. Please remove that word at the beginning and keep everything else the same. I think that is a good balance. Again saying unaccredited is invalid according to the definition that wikepedia provides of accreditation. Remember the campus is located in curacao, not the u.s. Until 2023 when ecfmg officially enlists the policy that all foreign schools need an outside accreditation such as CAAM-HP, the accreditation by the ministry of health of curacao signifies some type of accreditation.
