At least in Spanish, Pedro convirtió ofendido doesn't make any sense, it means nothing. I will change it to Pedro se tornó ofendido, because I think it has the same meaning that the English phrase. I would say Pedro se ofendió is a better translation... but I don't know if that would ruin the example. I wanted to write this because I think someone who can speak another of the given languages should verify the respective translations.
