I think the whole "team rivalry" section is poorly written and shows lack of NPOV. I suggest removal or complete rewrite with historical background and sources. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 47.21.33.62 ( talk) 16:55, 21 July 2015 (UTC)
Regarding this edit: the chairman of the Braves organization is not the club's owner, although I imagine McGuirk acts as Liberty Media's representative to Major League Baseball. isaacl ( talk) 23:10, 1 October 2015 (UTC)
Hello, I believe my previous revision to the Atlanta Braves article (seen here) should be accepted. After all, Major League Baseball (MLB) does not officially recognize the National Association as a major league, as explained by MLB's official historian, John Thorn. So officially, MLB says the founding date for both the Braves and Chicago Cubs should be 1876. Charlesaaronthompson ( talk) 16:10, 1 November 2015 (UTC)
My edits are correct according to baseball history, the Braves were originally the Cincinnati Red Stockings and in fact the first professional baseball team and to revert the changes back is lying to people and denying history. Sportsguru1987 ( talk) 23:10, 19 January 2017 (UTC)
