A fact from Ashta Nayika appeared on Wikipedia's
Main Page in the Did you know column on 26 October 2010 (
check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that Khandita(illustrated) is an enraged heroine in Indian arts, whose lover cheats with her and spends the night with another woman?
User:Cutest Penguin, it is essential that we have at least 1 depiction of each nayika; as their iconography can be conveyed better by a depiction. They are important motifs in Indian art. I do not have additional content to add to them. --

While Wikipedia articles are always in a process of development, they on various instances have information of a certain part in more details and cover other aspects in lesser details. When one aspect overburdens the outlook of the article, we call it
WP:UNDUE and such
WP:POV is reduced and neutralized by (a) adding more info on other aspects or (b) reducing the unduely extra part or (c) both. While information on Ashta Nayikas is not available, how do images present in it are needed to be removed? §§
