If there is a separate article on Arnold Beverly, rather than just a mention on the Mumia page, there should be some info about him as a person, and there's nothing apart from the description of African-American. Does he have criminal record, for instance? Are his Mob associations accepted? Is there any background to support those who disbelieve him? I don't think you can leave an article about a self-accused murderer like this.-- Jack Upland ( talk) 10:19, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
What could the defence team promise? That they would campaign for leniency??!!! He's confessing to the murder of a police officer. Why would he wait 17 years? Why would he hurry?!
I find no results searching Daniel Williams' book for Beverly. But what does Williams say they promised him? Why does he disbelieve him?-- Jack Upland ( talk) 10:34, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
Which reiterates my point, if we are going to have this as a separate article we need more background.-- Jack Upland ( talk) 09:52, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
Perhaps the details concerning Abu Jamal's legal team should be moved to the entry about Abu Jamal. Near the bottom, I had to scroll back up to confirm that I had not returned to the Abu Jamal entry. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.5.226.78 ( talk) 16:13, 9 April 2009 (UTC)
