My error in misnaming. Please move to Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Programme. Thank you. Oceanflynn ( talk) 03:46, 21 June 2023 (UTC)
I removed the notability maintenance template re: Wikipedia's general notability guideline. The Arctic Council is a "is a high-level intergovernmental forum that addresses issues faced by the Arctic governments and the indigenous people of the Arctic." and the AMAC has been a crucial working group of the Council since it was created. A similar working group, the Protection of the Arctic Marine Environment Working Group has had its own Wikipedia page since 2010 and consistently uses citations by related organizations.
The Overview section lists some of AMAP's significant contributions.
The AMAP is linked to other Wikipedia articles including Thermokarst, Arctic Council, Petroleum exploration in the Arctic, Climate change in the Arctic, Arctic Environmental Protection Strategy, Protection of the Arctic Marine Environment, Harvaqtuurmiut, Fishing industry in Greenland, Arctic Report Card, Global Monitoring Plan, Climate change in Greenland, Geopolitics of the Arctic, and 2021 in climate change. This is a new article and the maintenance template was added within hours of its creation. Oceanflynn ( talk) 20:53, 12 July 2023 (UTC)
