Is File:ATA.png the current or an old logo of the association? If it's old, then there are two points:
I'm awaiting discussion before I go ahead, especially with removing the old logo. — C.Fred ( talk) 18:52, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
C. Fred:
I apologize if this isn't the way to respond. Obviously, I've never edited in the Wiki system and it's taking some getting used to. That being said, I saw your notes about the logo and have some answers. Yes, the logo is copyrighted. I uploaded as PD-Self because that seemed to be the path of least resistance to get the image onto the page. Knowing I wasn't going to get sued by the ATA for copyright infringement, I went ahead and dealt with the upload that way. Secondly, the logo should be low-res as is. I put it through PhotoShop and saved it out at 72 DPI. The old logo has been replaced with the new one and I see no reason for it to stay on the page, once the page is updated. I sent your response to the text portion of the ATA page appropriate staff and I'm awaiting their decision before moving forward with any edits/changes to the page.
Thanks, MC MattCats10 ( talk) 21:47, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
Done I've uploaded the (new) logo to Wikipedia, placed it into the article, and tagged the old logo for deletion. Where did I get my copy of the logo from? I salvaged the one you from Commons. —

I noticed the edits of @ Srutlan: today on the page edit lists and I've temporarily reverted them because the excessive number of links to outside pages (including the main bold-lede) has set off a number of potential NPOV and copyvio detectors. It's possible that they're innocent, but I notice a lot of cut-paste copyvios from the ATA website in the past. I'm pinging @ C.Fred: who has resolved these situations a number of times before. Thanks. -- Michael Scott Cuthbert (talk) 15:59, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
