I have updated the page because Black Pearl was listed as a member of the Anoa'i family, which he is not. This was listed in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter by Dave Meltzer, the top pro wrestling journalist today. Although Rikishi has stated that Black Pear is a member of the family, he's only done this to help him out with work. Moreover, Black Pear isn't even of Samoan descent, but rather is of Fijian ancestry. Also, Jimmy Snuka is not related to the Anoa'i family. He is of Fijian descent only. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.225.217.84 ( talk) 18:17, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
I have heard that Snuka isn't actually related to the Anoa'i family too. However, I've forgotten the reason. Back in 2002, WWE magazine ran an article going over the Anoa'i family tree, and it mentioned Snuka's link to the family. However, I no longer have that magazine and I forget what the link was. He is either a cousin-in-law (where he married into the family), or he's considered a cousin much like Peter Maivia is considered an uncle, a "courtesy" cousin so to speak. -- James Duggan 02:34, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
Who is Tumua? He isn't on the family tree, and I thought sources showed that Reno (his supposed son) isn't part of this family. So what's up? L2K 17:49, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
Rikishi's sons are pro wrestlers as well and should be added

Rikishi Fatu's two sons Joshua Fatu and Jonathan Fatu (who is now Jimmy Uso in FCW) are pro wrestlers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.122.49.199 ( talk) 00:37, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
The way it's currently set-up, the dashed line b/w Amituanai Anoa'i and Peter Maivia makes it looks like Amituanai married Peter, who also was married to Leah. This needs to be removed. In its place there needs to be a solid line linking Leah with the rest of Amituanai's children.

It needs redrawing again, the Usos are twins but on this aren't connected to the right parents. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.90.88.80 ( talk) 19:07, 28 October 2020 (UTC)
The tree does need to be redrawn. The Usos, Jonathan and Joshua Fatu are twins, the sons of Solofa Fatu (Rikishi). The tree doesn't reflect this. Also, Jacob Fatu is the son of Samuel Fatu (Tonga Kid). This isn't reflected on the tree. Jwjones967 ( talk) 00:30, 31 October 2020 (UTC)jwjones967
The Rock is Peter Maivia's grandson, not his nephew. Ata Maivia is Peter Maivia's daughter. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.110.116.233 ( talk) 03:00, 31 December 2011 (UTC)
I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Anoa'i family's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Didn't Naomi marry one of the usos? shouldn't she be in the timeline too? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.220.66.126 ( talk) 00:57, 11 April 2014 (UTC)
I think the whole tree needs redrawing. There is no key for the dotted line (i.e. what does it mean?) and now the family has gotten so big it is too difficult to follow in its current format. It is even too wide to fit on the page. 89.241.243.15 ( talk) 09:03, 21 April 2014 (UTC)
"only because of the Rock" is not objective. Many of these wrestlers predate Dwayne Johnson. Please Remove — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.178.185.174 ( talk) 23:46, 21 July 2014 (UTC)
Lance Anoa'i is the son of Samu and an active professional wrestler. He needs to be added to the family tree somehow. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lewis21841 ( talk • contribs) 04:29, 12 November 2014 (UTC)
I agree but I don't know how to do it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.24.239.246 ( talk) 21:27, 2 February 2015 (UTC)

Is there a way we can add Lina Fanene aka Nia Jax to the family tree? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.214.94.65 ( talk) 20:59, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
The Rock has stated in interviews recently that he, at least, regards Haku as his uncle so that would add him and the likes of Camacho, Tama Tonga, and Bad Luck Fale to the family tree [1] 12:16, 16 January 2016 (UTC) Wrestlings Savior ( talk) 12:16, 16 January 2016 (UTC)

The Rock is divorced from his wife since 2007, and has two children with his current girlfriend.
Also, the article states Nia Jax as a member of the family, with her article saying she's a niece of Ata Miavia-Johnson, yet she is not listed on the tree at all. GhostOfDanGurney ( talk) 07:03, 2 June 2018 (UTC)
Sefa Fatu is a former Future Stars of Wrestling Nevada State Champion. Been trying to find information on him, but no such luck. He needs to be added to the family tree. If anybody can find anything on him, it would be helpful as I haven't been able to as I said. Mr. C.C. Hey yo! I didn't do it! 05:33, 11 August 2019 (UTC)
Joseph Sefa Fatu is the youngest brother (he was born in 1993) to SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos, he is known as “The Problem” on the indies. Joseph started training at his fathers KnokX Pro Wrestling promotion in California back in 2018, and has appeared for multiple indies since then. Joseph is part of the 6 wrestlers for the latest class of WWE Performance Center recruits and is a second generation wrestler. His Twitter handle is RealSefaFatu. Also, Rikishi's personal life section lists Jeremiah Peniata Fatu as being born on August 30th 1986 (according to a reference on Rikishi's Wikipedia page which lists a reference to their family tree via MyHeritage) though Jeremiah Peniata Fatu is not a wrestler like his brothers are - 2A02:C7F:EDA0:6400:3054:5CE8:90A4:1D3 ( talk) 00:52, 1 September 2021 (UTC)
How are they related to the family and why are they not featured here ? Is it because the are related to Peter Maivia only and not the Anoai Family themselves ? Or what is their relation? 2003:D0:CF0C:1357:F484:54FF:1F6B:EE9 ( talk) 22:47, 5 January 2023 (UTC)
A previous editor added Zilla Fatu, but it broke the chart by "making" Solo Sikoa the "son" of The Rock. I've reverted to the previous last good version, as I am unsure how to correct the chart. 155.190.60.34 ( talk) 02:31, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
