Ann Guilbert has not been mentioned in this years "Oscars In Memorium" as an actor who passed away in 2016 as well as countless other memorial articles including MSN.
I have removed much of the unsourced biographical material and changed the tag from BLP sources to BLPunsourced. Another editor reverted my changes, I have restored my changes, as follows:
The tag is simply factual: the article is completely without sources, not in need of more.
The editor made reference to my edits being "slash and burn". This is a biography of a living person without sources. There are ongoing discussions about possibly deleting such articles. "Slash and burn" would be sending this directly to AfD without allowing for improvement. This article has been tagged for "additional" sources for three months with no improvement. I'm asking for improvement.
The editor stated that the date of birth is not "contentious" and having never seen a requirement for a source for a birthdate on Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a repository for "information" that someone somewhere claims to know. Wikipedia is a complilation of reliably sourced information. Any editor may challenge any information and/or remove any unsourced information, as I have done.
If there are no reliable sources on a subject, it is not notable and should not have an article. So far, this article has none. -

You didn't challenge the material...you simply deleted it. The tag says "contentious material" must be deleted immediately, but birth dates, places of birth, and high school are not contentious, and for all your commenting here, you have not stated why you wanted to remove those particular elements and left others. Thanks for your lecture on WP, but making positive contributions is the best way to improve articles. You could have, as Baseball said, simply gone to imdb, which I am about to do.

I'm really at a loss as to why anyone would be so incensed about Ann Guilbert's birthday, etc. being listed on WP without (the horror) a source, or what exactly someone has against this particular actor. If someone were completely indifferent they would just ignore it, and if someone had the slightest bit of interest, they would know of Ann Guilbert's stature (she's not Jack Nicholson, but she's not exactly chopped liver... she has been a high profile actress for a very long period of time... it's absolutely ludicrous to even suggest that there should not be an article for her.) It smells to me like someone just likes deleting for the sake of deleting, not for the sake of improving Wikipedia. Remember the ultimate rule... if a rule prevents you from improving WP, ignore the rule. I'm not in the habit of saying this, but someone really needs to chillax.

Dick van dyke episodes
This reports she was only in 62 episodes of the Dick Van Dyke show. That is less than half of the show. This is a little surprising. Is there a source for that information? -

BLP status change
Due to the death of this person, the BLP status of this article has changed. This does not mean that unsourced material that would contravene the Biography of Living Persons rules can be added to this article
