Awards: table or list?

It is unusual for an author's awards to be presented as a table: a list is more common, as in Featured Article Chinua Achebe, and writers such as Kate_Atkinson_(writer)#Awards_and_honours, Simon_Armitage#Awards_and_distinctions, and recent Booker Prize winners Douglas_Stuart_(writer)#Selected_awards_and_honours, Damon_Galgut#Awards_and_honours, Shehan_Karunatilaka#Awards_and_honours. Ah I see that Damon Galgut has a table ... created by @ Create a template:, who has created the table here. No other editor appears to be using tables for lists of awards in articles. I suggest that a table is an unnecessary complication, and the list of awards should be a bulleted list or prose section. Pam D 07:37, 24 June 2024 (UTC) reply

I've invited other editors to comment, at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Biography#Awards section - table, prose, or list?. Pam D 07:44, 24 June 2024 (UTC) reply
