No mention of his newest musical project, Two Fingers? twofingersmusic.com
i wouldn't list the peeping-tom album as one of amon tobins own, he may have produced one track of it, but that's it. i propose to move it to the "Collaborations" section.

Looks like someone overwrote the original Amon Tobin photo for use with another article. I don't know how to access previous versions of a file. Can someone look into this? Ryan 18:24, 23 July 2006 (UTC)
This article is one of thousands on Wikipedia that have a link to YouTube in it. Based on the External links policy, most of these should probably be removed. I'm putting this message here, on this talk page, to request the regular editors take a look at the link and make sure it doesn't violate policy. In short: 1. 99% of the time YouTube should not be used as a source. 2. We must not link to material that violates someones copyright. If you are not sure if the link on this article should be removed, feel free to ask me on my talk page and I'll review it personally. Thanks. --- J.S ( t| c) 04:36, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
Look. Amon Tobin is amazing. It's almost as if he's objectively amazing.
But seriously, it's pretty obvious that this is a nonneutral article.
"Each of his albums unchart a new realm..." "Tobin is renowned for..."
I agree with everything in the article. But the word choice makes it a little biased.
I'm currently working on an improved version of this article in my sandbox ( User:Sebquantic/Sandbox). I've already cut out most of the unreferenced material and words to avoid, and rearanged the sections a little. Right now I'm reading through as many interviews, reviews, and bios as I can find to get plenty of verifiable material. I'm a fan of his music, but I don't know a lot about him at this point. If anybody is reading this and wants to help out please let me know. -- Sebquantic ( talk) 03:54, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
I've posted my re-written version of the article. It is far from perfect, but I tried to follow the MoS as much as possible, and I think it's a big step forward from the last revision. We can probably get this up to B-class or GA-class eventually with some more refining. About the discography, I modeled it loosely on the Nine Inch Nails FA-class article, where they have an abbreviated discog... and then a seperate page under Wikipedia:WikiProject_Discographies. Somebody with more knowledge of all his singles could create that page. There is a short list of things that I wanted to include, but could not find reliable sources for. If anybody has good sources (not forum posts) on this things please add them:

I noticed on Amon's MySpace page that it now lists his location as San Francisco. Does anybody have any more details on this? I think it merits looking in to as, a), that is an official Amon Tobin site (and, therefore, a primary source) and, b), this page directly factually contradicts that information by saying he lives in Montreal still. I'm having trouble finding more information on any move outside the aforementioned MySpace detail, but indirect support for it comes from the fact that his last two big shows (and, so far as I can tell, his only shows in the past year) were in the San Francisco Bay Area. The song Back From Space is centered around a loop from Metroid Prime's soundtrack, at a time in the game when the main character is just that, back from space. This is original research, unfortunately, unless someone can find an actual citation. -- Kingoomieiii ♣ Talk 14:40, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
Links to all three pitchfork.com reviews are broken. Those probably need to be replaced with other reviews anyway (looking at archive.org, I really doubt Pitchfork was a RS back in 1999). Sebquantic ( talk) 12:11, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
Also worth mentioning, the reference to the review of Bricolage is labeled incorrectly in the article I tried to fix it but I'm not good with wiki-markup and screwed up the article, so I undid the changes. Look in the "Defining Albums" section and look at where it says 'one of the most inventive albums to date' (it says something of the like). The little superscript link is labeled 12 and it links to the wrong reference. Bowty94
"He is known for building Dolby Digital 7.1 surround sound speaker systems during his performances."
Does this mean that instead of DJing, he turns his back to the audience and starts doing manual labour for Dolby? Or does this mean that he builds 7.1 surround sound systems FOR his performances? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.111.27.160 ( talk) 06:50, 7 April 2010 (UTC)
Regarding ..."Portugal and Madeira"... Am I mistaken that Madeira is in Portugal? 67.171.229.131 ( talk) 08:31, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
"...other independent films such as the 2002 Cannes Palme d'Or winner Divine Intervention." This is untrue, the film was in the main competition but didn't win the palm, it won the Jury Prize. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.164.213.130 ( talk) 02:34, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
Madeira is Portugal. referring that Amon lived in Portugal and Madeira is incorrect — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mikomakako ( talk • contribs) 10:16, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
