Amiel was playing for the Paul Schultes team of St. Louis when he was selected for the US game vs Scotland which was the last game on the Scottish tour. The first game of their tour was against the St. Louis All-Stars also featuring Muniz. Libro0 ( talk) 03:45, 9 December 2008 (UTC) reply

This source appears to be an error. It says that the winner of the BML is SAY of the Senior division with the subject as MVP. SAY was a St.Louis Municipal League Team of which there were three divisions: Senior(North), Senior(South), and Junior. Additional confirmation can be noted a few lines down the page by the St.Louis Municipal League where it states that the Spanish Americans were champions. Muniz played for the Raiders-Shultes-McMahons-Raiders franchise. It looks like he spent all of 1949 in St.Louis. Even in the off season(summer) he was part of the US player pool of approximately 23-26 players but did not make the final cut of 15 or 16 for the North American championship. As for being MVP, I did not see him out of the lineups of the pro league, at least not in 49. There were however other Muniz playing. At the opening of the 1948-49 season the roster for the Paul Schultes has Amiel Muniz listed as a forward with a Manuel Muniz listed as a Goalkeeper. Source- St.Louis Post-Dispatch.
