Hi, User:Monster Crab. The lede of this article asserts that, "According to the U.S. State Department, about 6,417 Americans live in the country." This is referenced to [1]. Please explain how you think this reference supports the text. I would suggest to you that it does not, and, further, that if you want to add a specific number that finding a specific supporting reference would be necessary. As you are aware, uncited or improperly sourced content may be removed. FeatherPluma ( talk) 14:30, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
Hi, User:Monster Crab. As you know, the reference you added is to a US embassy memorandum regarding risk of sexual assault. As you absolutely know, it in no way supports your quotation. And as you also know, the Spanish language Wikipedia page is tagged as lacking adequate references since 2012. So please provide the exact URL where you say you found the U.S. State Department statistic on US embassy site. FeatherPluma ( talk) 14:34, 21 April 2015 (UTC)
I see, User:Monster Crab. So am I correct that you now explicitly agree that the purported U.S. State Department statistic is not on the US embassy site? Unless I hear from you to the contrary, the offending uncited data will in due course be redacted. FeatherPluma ( talk) 23:33, 21 April 2015 (UTC)
Hi, User:Monster Crab. Uncited content on Wikipedia is always subject to removal. This is particularly true when it demonstrates other problems: e.g. "The Christmas" (sic). Please do not add (or add back) speculative unreferenced content, or folklore, or things you think are probably cool but which are WP:OR. I am removing the uncited article text about Christmas. Please discuss here any concerns you have, respecting WP:BRD, unless adding back with a proper WP:RS that explicity supports the text. The addition of unreferenced content is highly inappropriate. Hi, User:Monster Crab. Good luck. Just make sure it's WP:RS, please. If you can't find anything of adequate quality then you might want to just let it go. FeatherPluma ( talk) 04:33, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
