I've changed the redirect and added an otheruses tag on the Allan Jenkins (footballer) page (but not on the Allan Jenkins (journalist) page, since nobody is likely to get there and be astonished that it's not the footballer). Few pages link so I think uncontroversial to move, really. I would advise not to move Allan Jenkins to main head, in the presence of another article, since although this has a little more bulk, it is not substantial.

I've added otheruses -> journalist to the footballer's page, and checked the What Links Here, nothing except in User: namespace or self-referential; added dab for "Alan Jenkins" [sic] which lists the footballer, journalist, and an American comic comedian. Blanchardb fixed the dab, presumably to make it conform to a guideline I am unaware of (HAYLP!)

dabs all now work as expected; still a little uncomfortable that though this is probably the best solution it is not what was asked for.
