Hello, I'm Tintor2 and I'll be reviewing this article. As usual from your articles Jaguar, this one looks really good. Regards.

Well, there are two things bothering me. First, the game and its ports were all released in the same year so they could be together with a note that says ZX Spectrum was the first release for the game. Second, I've been watching vids from the video game online and I couldn't find something to source the sypnosis section. Is there a manual that has that info. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the changes in the article. Regards.

Thank you for the review and the compliment,
Tintor2! I've added a citation to the synopsis section, which details its plot and background. I've acted upon your suggestion regarding the consoles, I've merged the sentence in the lead together and added a note stating that it was first released on the Spectrum. I'll be happy to address anything else? JAGUAR20:55, 17 October 2015 (UTC)reply

Retro Gamer gives "1984" in issue 73, p. 29: Hunt, Stuart (February 2010). "The Ultimate Hero: A Complete History of Sabreman". Retro Gamer (73): 24–31.

Even
the IGN source currently in use in the article gives Dec 31, 1984, and not 1985. But last I checked, IGN's wiki data is not necessarily reliable anyway.
Plenty of sources have cited "1985" since this Wikipedia article was written but that could be
citogenesis. Is there any strong evidence that it was 1985 and not 1984? czar21:59, 3 October 2023 (UTC)reply
Then again, the same source says:
"1 March 1985: Ultimate Play the Game released Alien 8 on the Spectrum. 'It's just Knight Lore in space!' everyone said in hushed tones...", p. 15
"released more Filmation titles over the coming years including Alien 8 (1985), Nightshade (1985) and later Gunfright (1986)." p. 29
Both the 1984 and 1 March 1985 dates are wrong - I've added citations to the Gallup charts that date the release to around the second week in February 1985.
