Can anyone offer proper insight as to how the characters in the Japanese name would be romanized as yuu no ryouhin, roughly "superior article"?
Because a Hong Kong person coined it. It’s not unusual in HK, CN, & TW for businesses to use a "pseudo-Japanese" language: it evokes the sense of Japanese quality. Japanese Wikipedia gives some more detailed speculation. —
