Joseph, I feel that the following statement needs one or more inline citations to support its accuracy. Without specific references, it can be considered bias. Personally, I believe that the statement is probably true, but a good article demands some solid substantiation. If you believe the tag is incorrect, feel free to remove it. Thank you for your note!

In 2003, much like today, Black African students at each UC campus faced racial discrimination in the form of threats, offensive comments and actions taken by many non-black students.
