Did Curt Schilling the baseball pitcher start a gaming company? [[User:Meelar| Meelar (talk)]] 05:40, 3 Jul 2004 (UTC)
Clear rules? you're kidding, right? :) Anyways, maybe mention 2nd ed? I don't know the details as I've not been involved in the ASL community for a while. - Vina 22:51, 2 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Michael Dorosh, nice job on the article and module article. -- Stbalbach 04:06, 3 November 2005 (UTC)
I just noticed that MMP has come out with an Action Pack #3 (1 & 2 are out of print) Should these be added to the article? If so, where? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Excaliburssword ( talk • contribs) 04:15, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
Action Pack #4 is out now. Definitely need a list of the Action Packs. 71.191.40.106 ( talk) 19:58, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
The article incorrectly refers to the distribution of results from the simultaneous throwing of two dice as a "bell curve." The term bell curve refers to the Normal Distribution (with a capital N). The distribution of possible results is more accurately described as a step function that illustrates the 36 possible results of a throw. There is only one way to make a 2, so above the 2 on the number line we place a mark at the 2 level. There are six ways to throw a seven, so above the seven on the number line we mark a 6. And so forth. This is not the Normal Distribution. The study of dice throw results such as these comes under the heading of combinations and permutations in simple probability. It is not, however, statistics. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Subskipper ( talk • contribs) 18:12, 7 October 2010 (UTC)
While the module dependency chart does say that some modules need mapboards that are not included, it does not mention cases where a module includes one or more scenarios that require rules that are neither in the core ASL rulebook nor in any rules included in the module or any listed predecessor modules. For example, the "For King and Country" scenarios dealing with Maleme Airfield in Crete mention that dust rules are in effect. -- That Don Guy ( talk) 16:56, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
Great article on ASL, I am new to editing/creating articles on Wikipedia. I am in the process of making a list of the ASL Scenarios published by Multi-Man Publishing and putting it on Wikipedia. I understand that it takes some time to get your first article approved, but once (or if) that happens, how would I create a link on this main ASL article that went to the list I created? Any help would be appreciated. JO'Sullivan58 ( talk) 00:10, 27 October 2013 (UTC)
