"Wife Beware" might well be 1932's "Two White Arms" (also released as "Wives Beware", according to IMDB)... TREKphiler any time you're ready, Uhura 11:55, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
An editor has taken it upon themselves to delete sourced information on Menjou's politcal beliefs. This editor has cited this information to be "contentious," and while I recognize that may be so, that does not merit it's exclusion from a biographical entry. If an editor feels information is inaccurate or false, they should provide their own sources to substantiate this. An editor does not have the unilateral privilege of removing legitimate, referenced material which they themselves "don't like"...find unpalatable. I have restored deleted material. The reference to the Menjou-Katherine Hepburn political beliefs spat is wrong in attributing any of this to the McCarthy hearings, If by McCarthy they mean the senator from Wisconsin. Sen. McCarthy never investigated Hollywood. It was the House Un-American Activities Committee that investigated Hollywood in 1947-48, when the Memjou-Hepburn starrer State Of The Union was in production.
