Removal of his aunt's facebook page as a source

I think the citation of his passing that includes a link to his Aunt's facebook page should be removed. It is leading to people cyber stalking his family for information. Now that it has been officially confirmed by his team, thiis citation is not necessary and is now harmful. 2607:FEA8:BE63:C700:640F:2C15:F17:DFBA ( talk) 09:36, 29 October 2023 (UTC) reply

This was removed at some point since your comment. Thanks! Pedantical ( talk) 18:05, 29 October 2023 (UTC) reply

Birthplace

This [1] says he was born in Hibbing. Can someone clarify? Kablammo ( talk) 21:27, 31 October 2023 (UTC) reply

Suggest adding a Legacy section

Since Johnson's death, multiple leagues such as the EIHL and WHL (Canadian juniors) have mandated neck guards, as well as the Pittsburgh Penguins mandating neck and wrist guards for their AHL and ECHL affiliates, among others. I feel that this is worthy of its own dedicated section in the article. Awhalen0601 ( talk) 02:37, 4 November 2023 (UTC) reply

Death

I have edited details about comments following the subject's death. The tragic event requires some sensitivity as the aftermath is still ongoing, but it also requires accuracy here as the case progresses. Since some valid quotes are in the content which speculate on whether or not the case constitutes a criminal offence, I have inserted the UK definitions of manslaughter and murder. I have employed the word 'speculated' rather than 'said' in the case of two quotes where those quoted may have a vested interest in the case not being the consequence of a criminal act. I have also removed an erroneous section which claimed that UK law does not permit the cops to name a suspect or arrestee before charging. That practice extends simply from communications advice from the College of Policing. All the best, Emmentalist ( talk) 20:47, 23 November 2023 (UTC) reply

Bleeding out

If you cut your finger off, you are bleeding. If you cut your neck open and are dying as a result, you are bleeding out. So, to that IP that keeps reverting, bring it here before you revert again. Thank you. Masterhatch ( talk) 03:32, 21 June 2024 (UTC) reply
