Prussian Academy of Arts vs Akademie der Künste
There are two articles about incarnations of this institution:
Prussian Academy of Arts and this one.
The former says that it "was finally disbanded in 1955 after the 1954 foundation of two separate academies of art for East Berlin and West Berlin in 1954. Those two separate academies merged in 1993 to form Berlin's present-day Akademie der Künste", which appears to suggest that they are separate insitutions, this one being a successor to the other.
However, this article says that "The Akademie der Künste ... was founded in 1696 by Elector Frederick III of Brandenburg as the Prussian Academy of Arts", which seems to imply that they are the same insitution, having merely undergone a name change (or nine).
If that's so, then I would question whether they actually merit separate articles. However, I shan't propose a merge since I think the former interpretation is more accurate. I would suggest that the Akademie der Künste would be better described as having been founded in 1993.
