A couple of edits made by an anonymous Frenchie read like this, fwiw. I reverted them (and I apologise for the conspicuous lack of Wikipedia culture in my countrymen).
...I was not reading about the guy I thought I'd be reading about. I was looking for Aaron Banks, New york based martial arts promoter/practitioner who brought karate tournaments to mainstream television. According to Bank, in his book "From the OSS to the Green Berets," the Army took the formation of unconventional warfare groups seriously only after the June 1953 uprising in Berlin, when it became evident that East Germans were willing to take up arms against their Soviet oppressors. 173.59.233.142 ( talk) 21:46, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
