This movie was known in Germany as Der Goofy Film, which means The Goofy Film in English.
Why is this here? I don't see any justification for including the Japanese voice cast for this movie, especially since no other dub-cast is even mentioned. Unless someone can demonstrate why the Japanese dubbing cast (and ONLY the Japanese) needs to be here, it has to go. Chalkieperfect 18:11, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
This movie has "a substantial cult following"? Really? I'm not sure I'd want to meet someone who was a part of that. But I kind of want to hear someone back up this odd claim.-- Zincomog 04:38, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
Does anyone notice the following connections to the sitcom Blossom that was winding down at that time?
Is this notable enough to include? WAVY 10 01:20, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
This movie contains certain controversies, which are that when P.J. was walking out of Principal Mazur's office, he was punched in the face by Principal Mazur (the performance was excluded, due to content censorship in order to release this movie under a "G" rating), and the song "Staying Alive" from the R-rated film, Saturday Night Fever, which was later released with a "PG" rating with at least six minutes cut from the film. -- PJ Pete
About this quote...
"In the film, Max and his friends are Freshmen in their High School, although their later High School years have not been mentioned in any titles by The Walt Disney Company."
I'm not sure because it seems more like their last year in junior high, especially if Max is supposed to be a College freshman for 2000's An Extremely Goofy Movie. WAVY 10 18:04, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
I'm assuming that they're all about 16 or so in this. I'd assume they're juniors in high school. -- 76.205.140.53 ( talk) 04:56, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
We might as well not have anything about their age since we're all "assuming". If we have a source for the age we could put it back in. 98.202.38.225 ( talk) 00:35, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
The info on this Wiki entry says that the PAL DVD of this film is non-anamorphic. However, I've seen PAL-speed clips from the film on (I admit it) YouTube, and they're squeezed, as if it was a 16:9 source ripped at 4:3. No, I won't give links, just look it up...
If there is no anamorphic PAL DVD, where did these come from?-- 76.205.140.53 ( talk) 04:59, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
Well, it should be mentioned in this article that the fact about Principal Mazur is that he's a very strict principal in the school. -- PJ Pete

Added comment on Max's using the Perfect Cast technique to save his dad from the waterfall. The Perfect Cast is a running gag that not only works great for fishing, but also apparently helps save a life (Goofy's) and becomes a dance move when not accompanied by the fishing rod. A bit of text on the Extremely Goofy Movie article suggests a third Goofy Movie is in the works and going to be released on Disney XD. A Google search for the title A Fantastic Goofy Movie turned up nothing (except a bunch of copies of the Wikipedia article). Is this just someone spreading a false rumour? Is there any official source for this thing? -- TheHande ( talk) 17:34, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
ok, is that "prince co-wrote some songs" bit true? are there any sources? PLEASE, I WANT TO BELIEVE
"Roxanne speaks with Max and agrees to go with him to a party where Powerline's concert will be aired live, but Mazur forewarns Goofy that Max's actions may result in facing capital punishment."
Are y'all sure this is right? I'm going to leave it because it's been a while, and it's kind of funny, but is this possibly vandalism? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.9.209.211 ( talk) 04:59, 21 August 2013 (UTC)
-- This is OP. I just read somewhere else that he was warning that eventually Max would end up with a criminal record and get capital punishment, ha. Surely there is a better way to word this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.9.209.211 ( talk) 05:02, 21 August 2013 (UTC)

@ Sabrblade: This is the scene in question and I see no signage mentioning the Grand Canyon at the moment you claim. This might be just that this is a low-resolution version of the scene, but even then I'd like to see a screenshot of that moment. Otherwise, we have no grounds to be saying Grand Canyon in light of these inconsistencies (I've been in this area enough to identify putative geography).-- 06:48, 25 September 2020 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jasper Deng ( talk • contribs)
