That article is based on the company's own data. It would be better to produce subscriber figures from an independent industry source that aren't simply regurgitating press releases. --

Thanks for your response. All articles written about companies are invariably based on data which comes from the company itself otherwise how would these outlets know what our figures were?

Hutchison 3G → 3 (telecommunications) – Per
WP:COMMONNAME: Outside of Wikipedia in different countries, the brand is known as "3". The 3/Three brand was also not ran by the name Hutchison 3G, but it was only used as the trading name for its UK business -
Three UK (Hutchison 3G UK Limited)
[1]. Different networks in different countries are marketed under the 3/Three brand and have quite different ownerships, it was the global brand that brings them, all 9 networks, together. The global brand name is only 3/Three. Per
WP:RECOGNIZABLE: "3" is used instead of "Three" because of the brand logo, which shows the number "3".
Comment Agree that the brand was only Three / 3 (primary source:
https://www.three.com.hk) and they provide network of 4G technology instead of 3G only. But may need more secondary reliable source (e.g. Reuters) for the common name of the brand.
