Official, whether umpires, referees or whatever, are a vital and irreplaceable part of all competitions. To remove their names, when known, from the information surrounding a fixture shows a lack of respect for their importance that is not just wrong, but it quite frankly despicable - and should be condemned in the strongest possible terms.

Hilarously, debuts (which players can make multiple times), hat tricks and pointless" records" are now somehow "vital" while the umpires are not - those who apply these standards are frankly beneath contempt.

It's not a personal attack to point out that people with a lack of respect for the umpires are unacceptable. Frankly, your attacks on the officials should be of more concern.
