Just throwing it out there, shouldn’t it be the 2017-18 season?
According to Blizzard an OWL season encapsulates preseason, regular season, and postseason. As the preseason took place in 2017, surely the inaugural season covers 2017 and 2018?
Also, from an official point of view, Blizzard has 2017-2018 clearly stated on their inaugural season logo and have said the 2017-2018 convention in official videos. see: The Inaugural Season Explained

The details about the next season were just released on the official website and they are referring to next season as the 2019 season. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.217.249.202 ( talk) 14:29, 10 October 2018 (UTC)
Thoughts on switching to using Module:Sports_table instead of the sortable tables we use now? It would make updating the table far easier, as well as enable us to show on the table when teams are eliminated/locked in for the playoffs. The biggest downside is that we would be forced to call "Map Differential" "Game" or "Match Differential" instead, as the module currently has no option for map differential (although that may change in the near future; I've suggested the change on the talk page over at Module:Sports_table.)
