There is a dispute on whether or not the rankings table should remain a part of the article, and I seek to resolve this dispute on the talk page rather than engaging in an edit war. I hold the position that since the 2018 Ole Miss Rebels football team received votes multiple times throughout the year, the rankings table thus hold relevant information. The opposing position seems to be that, since the 2018 Ole Miss Rebels football was never given a top 25 rank, that the table should be removed entirely. Anyone else want to weigh in?

It is a ranking table. If they were never ranked then there is no reason for it. No reason to have a table to say something never happened. Receiving a few votes is not relevant enough for it's inclusion.

According to who? Point me to a source other than yourself that says this is standard practice. Receiving votes is relevant enough to be marked on the table, but not enough for the table itself to be included? Your point of "it never happened so the table isn't needed" is based on the false belief that receiving votes isn't relevant. The bottom line is that Ole Miss was included in multiple AP rankings, therefore the table should remain.

Wrong. It is a ranking table. Meaning it is to denote if they were ever ranked. They weren't. Simply receiving votes is not being ranked and not worthy of inclusion.
