Seconds after I created this page, it was tagged by CorenSearchBot as having copyright issues with this link. However, I have found that the link is probably mirroring 2014 North Indian Ocean cyclone season. Also, I have been using the same style as the previous North Indian Ocean cyclone seasons (such as 2014). As creator of the page, I believe copyright infringement has not occurred and thus ask for permission for the copyright violation tag ( Template:Csb-pageincludes) to be removed. Thank you. Is it just me, or that in the IMD site, it says "BOB-04/2016"? Is this a typo? Or missing systems? Typhoon2013 (talk) 07:03, 18 May 2016 (UTC)

@ Jason Rees: @ Meow: @ Jasper Deng: According to the "View history" box, most of the recent editors are anon users. From them, without a source ofc, they have stated that there are now 7 systems, which ARB01 became Kyant (???). Pretty much users like us has stopped on editing on the Nio articles and not checking the IMD site lately. What do we do now? Do we continue making articles like these? PS I haven't edited this basin for a while now therefore you may see what these anon users have done so far. Typhoon2013 (talk) 03:11, 18 September 2016 (UTC)
Just pinging @ Meow: @ Supportstorm: and @ Keith Edkins: for this. So we now have a real system right now active, which is BOB 03. Though the designation has skipped "BOB 02". Are one of the two unnumbered systems are BOB 02? Or is there a missing system due to lack of editing (see section above)? Or another mistake like what happened to the FMS in 2014-15 season. Typhoon2013 (talk) 06:18, 21 October 2016 (UTC)
I have made a consideration that the Aug16 system was BOB 02. This is due to the fact that the other system (formed on Aug09) developed over/very close to land. It even stated "intensified into a DD overland Bangladesh". Also the system that formed on Aug16 clearly formed over water, therefore this is BOB 02, while the Aug09 system is a Land Depression. But of course, just in case, we still need to confirm. Typhoon2013 (talk) 21:57, 21 October 2016 (UTC)
So we don't make notes when a system has been downgraded anymore here? (My note of Kyant being a deep depression was removed) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:245:8101:E2F0:A462:5C5C:1905:C755 ( talk) 20:41, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
Aren't Cyclone Vardah and Depression ARB 02 the same storm? Evem their track maps are lumped together continuously on the same image. ABC paulista ( talk) 14:41, 17 December 2016 (UTC)
:The situation is now more complicated as JTWC is to reissue a warning on 05B before 09:00 UTC. --

Season has ended and any tracks for Nada and BOB 04? Typhoon2013 (talk) 05:23, 23 December 2016 (UTC)
Taking a look at the IMD best track for 2016, it appears that what we currently refer to as "Land Depression 01" is actually "Land Depression 02". In the best track, LAND 01 was a depression over Madhya Pradesh on July 6-7.
Does anyone else have any additional information about this storm? It seems not to be mentioned in the article at the moment. — Iune talk 20:09, 17 June 2017 (UTC)
