We are required by Wikipedia's rules to only say what reliable sources say (see
WP:NOR). In this case, our sources say that this is the first deadly Islamist attack, so we repeat that. Personally, I suspect that the previous attacks mentioned above are considered acts of political terrorism (by the secular dictator of Libya and the apparently secular
Black September (group)) rather than acts of Islamist terrorism, and are thus not counted by our sources. Sandstein 14:56, 16 March 2011 (UTC)
No, that was not Islamistic. In the Berlin disco bombimg reference is states for a fact that "Libya was blamed for the bombing … Gaddafi called for Arab assaults on American interests worldwide…" Libya did not harbor Islamistic interests; they were purely nationalistic. And in Munich, Black September was primarily a secular liberation organization.
