There are two logos for the 2008 All-Star game, one general and one Yankee specific with "Yankees" in script.
I've changed the logos used in New York Yankees to the Yankee branded ones, while left the ones in this article about the All-Star game the general logo. — Steven Andrew Miller ( talk) 23:17, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
The amounts of all star games people have participated in are wrong. e.x. it sais Billy Wagner played in 4 all star games, but on Mets website it sais this is his 6th —Preceding unsigned comment added by Whiteknight666 ( talk • contribs) 13:02, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
Joe Mauer was voted as the starting catcher, not Ivan Rodriguez. [1] Counterfit ( talk) 21:55, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
As quoted in the page: "The results of the game are invalid because the NL's most deserving outfielder statistically, Pat Burrell, was snubbed so they could get more Chicago Cubs in the game."
This statement doesn't belong on the page; it's an opinion. Trust me, Burrell wasn't the only one snubbed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rammer7 ( talk • contribs) 16:27, 15 July 2008 (UTC)
During the bottom of the 11th Inning with no outs, an American League player tried to steal second base (not sure which). He was called out although a replay showed that he was never even tagged. Should it be mentioned? Wikifan4 ( talk) 04:21, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
No, unless you want to devote a section analyzing every tag play in the game. Pujols was safe at 2nd when he tried to stretch a single into a double. The throw beat him and he was called out, but instant replay showed he avoided the tag. Skarfin ( talk) 15:45, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
Agreed. Many pages about sporting events would be very long if they had controversial calls listed. Wikifan4 ( talk) 02:52, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
O Canada is typically played whenever there is a Canadian team playing. Since there were players from the Toronto Blue Jays, one would think that O Canada would have been played, however it was not. I placed a revision under the Games heading to indicate that even though there were members from the Canadian team, the anthem was not played. If you feel differently about this...please discuss on this page before making any changes. The point that I have added to the site, I believe, is a valid point, and I am not singling out any nationalities (Cuban, Dominican, etc.) Sweet Pea 1981 ( talk) 20:30, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
