Comment: Editor who requested move has not provided any sources for the proposed move. Moreover, after quick google search current name is appear to be more common. There should be some explanation from the
Hamish59. If proposed name is more commonly used or it is a official name of the unit then there is no problem in moving the page. --

Comment: Thank you very much for getting back to me,
Human3015. To answer your points. Sources are cited in the article.
1) Brigade was officially designated with both titles at different times, as stated and cited in the article. Mackie states that it was 1st (Risalpur) Cavalry Brigade from 1910 to 1940 other than a 7 year period from September 1920 until 1927 when it was 1st Indian Cavalry Brigade.
2) It was 1st (Risalpur) Cavalry Brigade throughout the First World War (per Perry) and Second World War (per Kempton).
3) 1st (Risalpur) Cavalry Brigade was its final name when broken up in 1940.
Can you give some stats on your Google searches? Not my forte, so could you provide better data?
From what I can see, Goggle results for
1st Indian Cavalry Brigade shows 413,000 matches but how many are actually relevant? Certainly none on the first page. Most seem to match to "1st Indian Cavalry Division" which commanded three brigades. For example,
The Long, Long Trail for The 1st Indian Cavalry Division in 1914-1918 that includes "1st" "Indian" "Cavalry" and its constituent "Brigade"s - but not, obviously, the "1st Indian Cavalry Brigade" as it was never part of the division.
