I really don't think that the battalions need their own separate pages, especially considering that 90% of the information is copy and pasted from the main article. As with all other British infantry regiments all that is really needed is a regiment article. If anything, the Royal Scots Borderers page should have a sub-section regarding it's re-designation as 1 RANGERS and subsequent activities, since the golden thread still exists. –

Your latter suggestion might not be a bad idea, but for now I'll leave it since they are separate units, and are indeed continuations of the old units.
