A large part of this page is copied, or paraphrased unacceptably closely, from this page, which is based on the discredited book From Time Immemorial. The unreliable source allows the offending text to be deleted, but the copyvio requires it to be deleted. I will now delete all sentences which the too close to the stated source. Unfortunately there isn't going to be much left. Zero talk 12:51, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
TAG: As well as not being based on any identified reliable sources, the text is full of language like "the terror unleashed" and "unrestrained bloody violence". It isn't clear why this article should exist at all, since there is room for the complete story in History of the Jews in Aden. Zero talk 13:03, 7 November 2013 (UTC)

The entire article urgently requires expansion and sourcing. Coretheapple ( talk) 16:48, 28 December 2013 (UTC)
I've added some bare-bones text from contemporary news accounts, but it needs expansion utilizing historical texts, perhaps copied from History of the Jews in Aden per WP:CWW. I'm not going to do any major copying or expansion because I'm not really conversant with the subject area, and also pending resolution of the AfD, as is customary. @ Zero0000: I started merging the information from the section you wrote, but I figured out, since you (probably) have access to the listed sources, you should merge it with the existing information. I'll add my information afterwards.-- Bolter21 ( talk to me) 16:33, 12 January 2017 (UTC)
@ Bolter21: No problem; I'll do it on the weekend. Zero talk 21:28, 12 January 2017 (UTC)

"Aden riots" is much more common than "Aden pogrom". In popular sources (as per Google counts) it is 30 times more common, and in scholarly writing "pogrom" is almost nonexistent. For example, Parfitt uses "pogrom" only in quotation and "riots" all over the place. The fact that "pogrom" fails neutrality requirements is also obvious. Zero talk 00:46, 8 December 2017 (UTC)
