Streptomyces mexicanus is a xylanolytic and thermophilic bacterium species from the genus of Streptomyces which has been isolated from soil from a sugar cane field in Mexico. [1] [2] [3] Streptomyces mexicanus produces xylanase and B-xylosidase. [3]
