Alternative medicine
Removing relativistic terms like "often, most, etc" as well as removing statements that are not supported by sources and which can't be corroborated. Ex: "This is further exacerbated by the tendency (whose tendency?)to turn to alternative therapies upon the failure of medicine, at which point the condition will be at its worst and most likely to spontaneously improve" (WTF is that last statement? That is made up by the original author and is not supported)Tags: RevertedVisual editMobile editMobile web edit

Alternative medicine
I read the linked sources for the opening sentence. If and only if alternative medicine is defined in relation to the word "medicine," and the definition of "medicine" states that it includes all those therapies for which experimental results show efficacy, then alternative medicine is defined as those those therapies for which there is no conclusive experimental data.Tags: RevertedVisual editMobile editMobile web edit
