Arthur Rubin (
talk) I have provided references. Now it is your turn to prove that the systems are not in fact based upon the same individual or derived from Jesus based dates. This is not a simple matter of the systems being numerically the same by happen stance. Rather than delete please correct and provide references. I've addressed this in the talk section.Tag: Undo

CE/BCE corresponds to AD/BC. AD/BC are based upon the time frames revolving around Jesus. Please cite how the system is not based upon this individual.

Common Era
Removed uncited opinionated statements. Riddle me this? What is CE / BCE based off of? If a reader were to ask what would you tell him? Would you try to avoid truth or dance around facts?

Common Era
Removed fundamentalist views to make article neutral in its opening. Added information that expands upon why BCE and BC use the same date system. Note to the guy doing war editing. I provided citations which you deleted to push your agenda. If you are going to edit things at least provide citations.

Common Era
BCE is based upon Christian dates associated with Christ. Saying they are numerically equivalent but not explaining why does a disservice to the reader. Maybe we could word it better?
