Shogun
In a previous edit, I had explained that the notion of MacArthur being called "gaijin shogun" was based on a misunderstanding of the cited text. For some reason, this was reverted back. I am not sure why, but I am restoring my removal of this component for misinformation.Tag: Visual edit

Shogun
See my edit on the Douglas Macarthur page too. The citation doesn't claim that MacArthur was actually called that, but is the author's appelation given to MacArthur's role within post-war Japanese society.Tag: 2017 wikitext editor

Douglas MacArthur
In a conversation online someone told me that the Japanese saw MacArthur as a shogun. I was curious and checked the wikipedia page. The claim that the Japanese called him gaijin shogun was suspicious to me. I checked the Valley tex, and issues of reliability aside, the specific Valley page citation claims that it is *likely* that the Japanese would have considered him such, and not something that they explicitly called him. I found no mention of this title actually used in the rest of the bookTag: 2017 wikitext editor

Trances (film)
I rewrote the summary in line with citations in published texts, as well as improved upon the production history section by adding information from an interview by a producer. I intend to improve upon this page in the coming days.Tag: Visual edit
