Removing bias. There were a range of reactions to the cancellation. Some said it was an overreaction, others said it was overdue. Wikipedia should not be taking one side or the other, but we can document all the views. Moved the think tank opinions to their own section and added the opposing views.Tag: Visual edit

The World Bank just announced that the Doing Business report will no longer be published following an external audit detailing how senior management influenced the data irregularities. Reverted edit and added description of the authorship controversy. Some random blog about blockchain is not a "source of record". The World Bank lists Djankov, Klein and McLiesh as the Founders of Doing Business and they are the authors of the first report. The only sources that list Pohl seem to be quoting a previous version of this page directly, not citing anything independent. That said, I added a sentence on this controversy, feel free to flesh out if you have verifiable info.Tag: Visual edit

Reverted inaccurate edit, and added citation for the original, correct information. The World Bank's own documentation does not list Pohl as having anything to do with the initial Doing Business Report in 2004, but it does include McLish and Klein. Pohl is not mentioned anywhere in the first report. The source cited is an Indian test prep book, which makes other spurious claims such as that India performed in the top 10 on Doing Business (it didn't, it ranked 63).Tag: Visual edit: Switched
