Added reference to Broom 1916 and clarified a sentence pertaining to distribution of potamogalines vs tenrecines

Afrosoricida
As requested I've moved the page to Tenrecoidea. I've also updated the tenrec phylogeny so as to reflect the topology shown by Everson et al. 2016 (e.g., that M.talazaci and M.dobsoni comprise the sister taxon to all other spp. of Microgale)

I updated the taxonomy to reflect the changes on the phylogenetic tree, and to reduce the frequency of arbitrary Linnean ranksTag: Reverted

→Phylogeny: Recent phylogenetic studies do not support an Oryzorictes-Geogale clade. I've updated the topology to reflect studies by Olson & Goodman (2003), Asher & Hofreiter (2006), Poux et al. (2008), Asher et al (2010), Everson et al. (2016). The largest of these support (Geogale (Oryzorictes-Microgale))Tag: Reverted

I've updated the text to reflect the (still not widely agreed on) debate in how to name the clade of tenrecs & golden moles. The previous version did not acknowledge the priority of the term Tenrecoidea (named in 1958) vs. "Afrosoricida" (named in 1998). It's not a clear-cut issue since formal naming rules don't apply to high-level clades, but at least this version acknowledges more of the relevant literature.Tag: Reverted

It's Paula not "Paulina" Jenkins. The Hedges article should be cited in the context of an original article by Asher & HelgenTag: Reverted

I have combined text from the previous Notoryctes page favored by Anaxial with many improvements that I have identified. Please see the talk page for details.

These edits reflect the evidence in the peer reviewed literature that notoryctids are crown marsupials, not dryolestoids. The edits further provide frequent citations to the peer-reviewed literature that give detail about dental homologies
